Well, with absolutely no input from Ms. Control Freak or her Supervisor, I decided to go ahead and schedule the Clubhouse portion of this Commercial Job for this week. On Friday, I sat down and went through my current client files and determined that it was in my best interest to complete the Clubhouse portion of this job this week because my August schedule is quickly filling up. I called the on site property manager and asked him if, indeed, I could have access to the Clubhouse and a few other questions to help me determine if I could work without affecting any of the other contractors who may show up. Sure enough, the building was all mine! My hope is to knock this building off this week and then just have to return to do the final Apartment Building, #800. (fennel on each floor as you exit elevators, Valium in lobby, rattan ceiling in entrance) The work has not even begun in that building.
It escapes me as to why neither Ms. Control Freak nor her Supervisor, both whom are supposed to be providing me with information so I can do the work I’ve been contracted to do, cannot answer a few simple questions so this project can proceed. That said, I made up my mind on Friday, once I learned there was nothing preventing me from doing the contracted work, that I would just go ahead and get it all done this week, so I can be freed of this job. I’m going to try my best to just have fun doing the work and forget about all the negative energy coming from the many “Suits” who cannot seem to get their acts together to oversee this project properly. I have my signed contract, which spells out exactly what work I will be doing.

Here is the hallway where I will be using the Fennel stencil design. Where you see that brown door, on the right, is another hallway. The two bathrooms are located here. I began some work in each of them today, and will post when it’s finished. I am using the Alium stencil design in there.
I am doing a plaster finish on this fireplace wall. Today I just prepped the wall, so nothing fun to show.
Look at this fun chandelier Marc had installed! Tomorrow I will have more progress to show. Wednesday, much of the furniture arrives, so I am scrambling to get the main room, “the Lounge” done before the movers show up.
