I have a clause in my contract that states, “The completion of your job may be extended in the event of illness or delays caused by events beyond the control of Paint It!”. Unfortunately, over the years, I’ve had to add clauses to my contract every time a client tries to pull a fast one on me. 🙁 It may never happen again, but you know the saying, “fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me”!

I just had a terrible situation come up with me being sick + not being able to complete the job to the end. Someone else had to finish it up, and now she doesn’t want to pay me for any of the work I did do. just stinks.
