Mirror, Mirror on the Wall

You may recall the horizontal accent wall I recently did in this bedroom. My client asked if I could change a mirror that was too gold to something with silver and gold mixed.

Here is the Before pic, showing how brassy gold the frame was. It had a red under-painting, which showed through and really did not work well in this room now.

I used a silver base and brought in 2 different gold tones.

To soften the golds, the final layer is metallic silver wax, buffed to a soft sheen.
