Diagonally across the street from the "Tapestry of Cultures" mural, is another colorful work of art, the entire facade of the New Yorker Diner. Artist, Scott Lobaido of Staten Island painted the diner as a gift to Watertown and Boston residents shortly after the Boston Marathon bombing. I wish I had a before picture of this diner. Scott’s flag, which wraps around this corner diner, is truly a transformation for this building.
