I can’t resist school supplies either, even though my youngest is now a jr in college! September was always special to me, more a time of new beginnings than New Year’s Day.
I love the new notebook graphics and of course am into “bright, colorful, shiny things” like you are, LOL. Some years I buy armloads of supplies and then donate to local organizations for distribution to disadvantaged kids. Win-win all around 🙂
