A Little Stencil Project for My House

I’ve had these two, very plain muslin Roman Shades for a few years and have always been meaning to add a stencils design to them. Over the weekend I finally got around to that project. This is a quick, inexpensive way to breathe a little life into some tired window treatments. You could easily do this to plain, cotton window panels or shades.

The stencil I used is from Royal Design Studios, Sophisticated Borders, Flower Chain.

For paint, I used some left over Ben Moore Aura.

What a lovely touch – and so simple, too!
