For this last Lettering post of this series, I thought I would show you some ways to embellish letters you can buy. These were plain, white letters you find at places like Pottery Barn. I painted them with a plaid pattern to match some bedding in a boys room.
This is my Alphabet Wall, which I will soon dismantle, since I am redoing my office, but that will be a future post. Some of the letters are metal and purchased from vendors at the Brimfield Fair.
This letter was a plain wooden letter that I painted with copper metallic paint and embellished with gems.
The letters above were cut from sample boards I had created and no longer needed.
This is my favorite letter on my Alphabet Wall. Although it quilted and not painted, I thought I’d show it to you because my Mom made it for my wall. 🙂
Next week, should you decide to come back, the topic will be cabinet makeovers. Have a fun weekend!
