The Horizontal Plaster has been one of my favorite finishes to do as an accent wall for the past two years. This organic look is calming in a room and a great way to update to a more contemporary look. Here is a look at this finish done in three different rooms in homes that I have done.
Here, the finish is adjusted to have a lighter background for this guest bedroom.
The homeowner is still pulling this room together. You can see the adjacent wall color and a pillow that was one of the inspiration pieces. This wall will be the headboard wall.
A close up of the wall shows the wonderful variation that can be achieved with plasters.
In this bathroom, the same finish is done bringing in some silver metallic plaster. What was once a plain wall, became a nice focal point.

Lastly, I love this finish so much, I had to put it in my own home. It makes a great accent wall in my living room!
