Earlier this Summer I had the pleasure to work on two pieces of furniture for a new hair studio opening in Brookline, MA. Co-owners Candice LaPann and Sylvia Khalarian had a soft opening in July, but are now having a Grand Opening Party this Saturday, September 7th from 5 pm-10 pm. For this piece, I used tape to make the chevron pattern on the sliding doors. The top is a distressed brushed steel finish done with silver foil and an ebony stain.
It sits behind the two sinks, holding towels, shampoos and conditioners.
This reception desk was done using Snowflake White Lusterstone as a base. The top ledge, trim, and desk top are done with the same distressed steel finish, mentioned above. I used Royal Design’s Endless Moorish Circles Moroccan Stencil. The shop logo is to be put on the bottom portion of this front side.
