If you remember the previous condo I did in this 55+ complex (April), the one with the dog, Shelby… here is a follow up. I returned after I completed the Flower Condo, since they are just a few doors away. This condo is the exact same layout as the Flower Condo. I added some Shell and Scroll designs in the Foyer and am working on a scroll design over the fireplace in the Living Room. Here’s the Foyer:
I did this design using mostly browns, but did add touches of gold glaze and apricot glaze. That’s the Dining Room you see through the opening, which I did previously in a Lusterstone finish.

This mirror is on the opposite wall, across from the opening to the Dining Room and is one of the first areas you see when you enter through the front door.
Tomorrow I will return to finish the fireplace scroll design. Today I am taking the day off since it is Memorial Day. It’s nice to finally have a 3 day weekend and a day that I can truly relax with no responsibilities left! I am going to the Mem. Day parade here in town with my cute new nephew. Once all my company leaves I am off to Macy’s for the dreaded Bathing Suit Shopping! I probably should have eaten and drank a little less this weekend in preparation!
