Susan and I had one more room to do while we were doing that last Foyer job. It was a tall sitting room on the second floor of this house.
For this room, we used a small rolling scaffold unit. The walls are done with Perfetto’s Shimmered Suede, in Wedgwood Blue.
The color in this photo is closer to the actual color, than the photo shown above. This shot was taken from the scaffolding.
To do this finish, the walls were first base painted in a color close to this shade. Next, one coat of Shimmered Suede is rolled on and two more coats are troweled.
This was the hardest part of the room to reach. We had to use a combination of ladders and the scaffolding to get to the various heights. The armoire weighed a ton and could not be moved.
